$2.65 here in northeast Missouri. The weather has gotten more spring like, so I've decided to ride my bicycle for transportation as much as possible. Just my little way of giving the big oil exec's the finger.

$2.89 for diesel. Seriously considering trading the truck in, buying an old 3/4 ton for hauling the toy and wood in, so I can park it. Buy me something small and sporty for a daily driver.

Diesel is $2.99 and 86 is $2.83
I needs a motorcickle peeps. Especially if we move to the East Mountains like we're discussing. Mater only gets about 10 MPG in town, but I can't stand not having a pickup.

I hear ya, PigPen. I'm thinking about a possible move & job change in the next year or so, and (unfortunately), it'll be to a more expensive area, including gas prices.

Last time I filled up I paid 3.35 for premium and the time before that was at 3.39
SOCAL sucks when it comes to fuel prices.
I have been thinking of getting a motorcycle for comuting and saving the Mustang for nice sunny weekend with the top down and the wind blowing through my never mind LOL.

Gas has been steadily rising in Illinois for the last week or so. Up to $2.91 for regular unleaded in the country and over $3.10 in the city and burbs. I have already started riding the Harley to work to try to beat the prices when weather allows. The 50 mpg makes riding in less than great weather doable.

The sad thing is the very first car I bought was a brand new 1993 Geo Metro (aka rice burner). 54 MPG on the highway. Wish I still had it. What I can't understand is why don't the car companies can't make something like that now that we really need it.

cause 50MPG doesn't come with 300+ horse power and rail like handling

so you have the toy and teh fuel efficiant suck mobile commute in the suckmobile and take teh 500 HP gas guzzler out on very nice sundays.
