What I can't understand is why don't the car companies can't make something like that now that we really need it.IT'S BUSH'S FAULT!

Good to hear from you, Medic. It's been a while. !Gas prices are obscene. We're lucky in NJ; they still hover around $2.60 a gallon--compensation, I guess, for the most polluted air in the northeast. It's still all relative: I've spend the last 48 hours bailing water out of the cellar, in the hope that the tide would not destroy the gas furnace we put in in January, to the tune of $8,000. Eye-opener: for all our technological sophistication and modern gadgets, a slight natural occurence can toss us right back into primitive survival mode. There wasn't a pump of any kind to be had in Bergen County after 8:00 A.M. yesterday morning. Dome got whacked several times in moving all the stuff on/near the cellar floor and filling buckets. As things dry out, look forward to long hot shower and shave. Stay sly, bros, and dry, Professor Melon
