That's a walk in the park!

Highest here in Albuquerque is $3.49, about the lowest we can find is $3.17

Now is about the time the fellas from Cali will chime in with their damn near $4 a gallon.

But that's OK, cause you guys make so much more!!!  ;)

We're sitting at $3.60 in the Chicago burbs...  Heard a report last night the prices were over $4 in the city itself!!

Actually Pig, parts of Cali have higher incomes than others. The biggest issue is that the Sierra Club and other environmentalist groups campaigned hard to have certain types of fuel blended for CA so that it burns cleaner. The additional refining methods jacked up the price too. Plus, we have some of the (if not the) highest gas taxes in the nation. Gotta pay for all those unnecesary layers of government out here in CA somehow.  :/O

Good ole Sierra Club. Our gas taxes used to be pretty hefty, but last year after prices went so damn high they repealed a lot of the taxes. I wish I could find E85 in Albuquerque, cause the wife's van will run on it.

It'd be like squeezing a balloon...it gets small where you squeeze it, only to get bigger elsewhere. The moment the gas tax declines, another tax will be added somewhere.

That would be our corrupt Illinois politicians* way of thinking!

*as a disclaimer, I would like to state that it is a proven fact that the Illinois Political system is one of the most corrupt in the nation.  Numerous governors, mayors, city managers, etc have been tried and convicted.  My statement above was not meant to be political, just factual.

Here in Minneapple I saw $3.08 yesterday. I did see on the news this morning that Illinois had the highest price/gal average, while New Jersey had the lowest average.

NJ does have the lowest, the only problem is the Gov is going to raise the gas prices there in the future, which goes great with their ridiculous property tax :Xo!

Wal-Mart is supposed to open up gas stations at their stores across the nation and offer E85 and possibly E100.  Most cars can convert with a $150 part.
People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.
