Cuban cigars 2 - The Sequel
« on: October 04, 2011, 07:07:19 AM »
sorry but I cant find the original thread :o

But, having thrown caution to the wind, I did mail my friend what he asked me to mail him, and the package was received yesterday. I figured it was no loss for me if he went to jail, and if I were to be deported and sent to prison in America, the food is likely to be better than it is here, so I took a chance.

Interestingly, the package had been opened, and there was a big sticker on the package from US Customs to say the package had been 'inspected and passed for entry to the US'

I'm very surprised, considering the package had Cuban goods inside, and that he also wasnt charged any kind of import tax, given the value of the contents.

But I betcha if I ordered some Velveeta and Welch's grape jelly from Walmart and had them shipped to me, I'd be given 50 lashes and 500 years in prison by the UK government :(

I can't really think of anything outside of some repairs to my car or house, that I would pay that much money for.

I think it was the 359 English Pounds for 25 cigars--those are some pricey coffin nails.
