Who out in the USA lives by one of the very few Tim Hortons?

They are all over the canadian border states, almost everywhere I go in those states there's a tim hortins

I think they have on in Columbus, OH.  If so, I got a donut from there one morning.

Just checked their website and I was right!
People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.

Tyler, you are correct.

The majority of the coffee that claims to be fresh roasted...is not.  Once roasted, coffee does begin to deteriorate in quality.  Just because it's sealed, it does not matter.

In North America, most coffee is sold 2, 3 or more months after roasting.  Even freshly roasted coffee beans becomes stale within hours of being ground. That's why its important to grind them just before brewing.

So...If you haven't had REAL fresh roasted coffee (brewed within 7 days of actual roasting) you are missing an indescribable party on your palette.

I dont want to start any trouble here, but I had coffee nearly every day for my last year of high school at a Tim Hortons and their coffee was nothing special.

I agree with Mr.Gallagher in that Dunkin Doughnuts have great black coffee. A cup of coffee at DD and their blueberry glazed tops anything at Tim Hortons or Krispy Kreme

Get ready....... all i can say!

Love my coffee...

Just on my second pot of french press for the morning.  (ok, the french press only yields 2 cups).  Enjoying some Kenya AA today.

I roast my own beans as well.  Nothing beats fresh roast, fresh ground, french pressed coffee.

I have a larger french press that makes 8 cups, but I built it myself. Coffee filters from percolating coffee makers? YUCK never again!

Why is it that Starbucks coffee tastes better at the restaurant, then it does when I'm at home. I freeze it fresh, use filtered h20, and follow the direction to the T. Maybe it's just psychological, I don't know.  :(

Well we have finally figured out how to use the expresso machine that was given to us as a wedding gift nearly 2 years ago. My better half only drinks de-caff coffee but give me the real stuff. I have had to cut way down on my coffee consumption tho, I get the shakes real bad after a strong cup and feel like crap all day.

I am going to try different brands of ground coffee. Anyone have any suggestions?
