Good on you Mr. Z! I too waited until I was almost 60 to get my ear pierced.
Mike E.P. I'll bet your principal doesn't say anything - unless it is something light-hearted.
My piercer just called me. He said that my custom made ear cuff is on its way. I hope to have it in with two weeks. I will "try" to take a photo for you guys.

Looks good Jeff. I wore CBRs for years, then I jumped on the gauging bandwagon. I'm wearing 1/2 inch (~13mm) plugs or tunnels at present.

Looks good Jeff! The silver rings go well with the colors in your goatee. Mine is "rose gold" but there is no bead in it. It is just a ring that was put in with a special tool. I cannot remove it by myself, (unless I use a side cutter!).
The latest word from my piercer is that my 3/8" ear cuff will arrive this coming Monday. -
