This whole licking thing

Since joining this forum I've seen at least half a dozen references to people getting their scalps licked with a presumably erotic intent in a variety of situations.
I've always been really attracted to bald men and have long wanted to give bald a go myself but licking someone's head or having someone lick my head just seems not especially appealing, neutral at best. This may be colored by the fact that my dog would sometimes lick my head which just felt eeeewww (largely cos I know where that tongue has been).
Is "licking" more like kissing an erogenous zone as often happens during romantic contact (which makes complete sense to me) or more like straight up slurping an ice cream cone (which doesn't seem so appealing to me). Is "licking" just used as a term for sloppy kisses?
I am NOT judgmental of anyone who is turned on by this kind of thing; after all I've got my own predilections. I'm just curious as to whether this is a common aspect of sexuality with baldies, how common it really is to experience, how common it is to really enjoy it (giving or receiving) -- I guess I'm just generally curious about this phenomenon.
Cos I can't resist -- how hot is licking head?

Yes, it's raining and I'm shut in for a few hours so I'm thinking way too hard about the cosmically unimportant, in case you couldn't tell.

You're right. It does seem.....odd. (Weird?) I don't mind if my bf rubs or kisses my head but licking it? Ummmm, no!

As someone who has been licked randomly, it is a bit odd when it happens to you.

It seems to me as though the practice would carry a profoundly "romantic" intent. Romantic as in "Wow, the back seat of your '67 Impala is really romantic, what are all those footprints on the ceiling?"

Okay, glad I'm not totally missing out on something, I was trying to be as diplomatic as possible in my OP but sounds like others feel the same way I do -- if someone in public randomly licked my head I'd sock them. If a partner did it without some kind of kiss or stroke involved I'd give them the side eye and go read in the other room.

buddha -- there is NOTHING classier than footprints on the roof of a car!
When I was 7 or 8 my mom left me and a friend in the minivan while she went to go mail a letter or do something fairly brief. While she was gone we decided to flip ourselves over on the seat and track footprints all over the roof of the van.
I totally didn't get why my mom was so mad about it, even angrier than she was when I accidentally keyed her car -- she was flustered and just said "it's really just not okay, there..."

There are plenty of good places on a human body to lick, but a noggin is not one of them, IMO. I definitely wouldn't be turned on by that, even if my wife did it. Different strokes, I guess....

A lot depends on who is doing the licking ...

IMHO, it doesn't really matter who's doing the licking. It still seems weird!

I've had my head licked, but not in a sexual/sensual way.
More in a drunk way, anywho it was weird to say the least!
