Since the dawn of man, he has instinctively been drawn to shiny, pretty things. That's just how it is.

Watched a really cool documentary on Coffee from Prue , the beans and how it is one of the best coffee's . Alot of danger when you go into the area to check this out. Sure would like to try some of that coffee. Anyone got any info on it.

Picked up a couple blends from our coffee company . 1.) Jingle Bell Java - Caramel, Vanillia, Rum, Cinnamon, Pecan. Nice but I drink more than 1-2 cups

2)Christmas Creme - coconut, vanilla, carmel . Also nice but more than 2 cups go back to your favorite.

Just picked up a small bottle of Patron "XO Cafe" to try. I am a huge fan of the regular Patron Silver Tequilla, so I wanted to try the Coffee version. I am thinking about putting it in some coffee, but debating on just shooting it like the regualr... any suggestions?

For any of my fellow coffee
and beer lovers in, or near the state line of, Wisconsin: New Glarus Brewing has a coffee stout out now that is freakin' delicious. Definitely worth a try.

Living in New England, we have excellent microbrewies and coffee companies: Maine has a couple fantastic ones, including Carrabassett Coffee Company, Wicked Joe (my personal favorite) and Coffee By Design, which now has a store located within LL Bean in Freeport.

Ben, thanks for steering the thread back to coffee.
My favorite coffee is from Spike's Coffee in San Francisco.
Organic Dark Roast Guatemala
http://www.spikescoffee.com/store/coffees/cof-dr-gua.htmlI order three pounds of the whole bean coffee every couple of months to have in my rotation.

I don't like flavored coffees. I like coffee that tastes like coffee.
I freely admit that I'm a coffee snob. No Maxwell House or Folgers for me. I travel about 30 minutes from home to the coffee store where we buy our coffee.
I prefer lighter roasts that are smooth and not bitter. I love Mexican and Hawaiian coffees. The Hawaiian coffees are tough to come by these days in this part of the country.
