1st off go get you a mens shave gel [satin care is for women but ever works for you] also a mirror to see the back of your head when shaving and take your time you'll get the hang of it no rushing apply a disinfectant or just wash your dome clean and use an after shave or lotion to use on the dome and don't forget to do your shave prep so the hair is nice and soft for shaving just relax it will come naturally after a few tries ok.I agree with the advice on the prepping your head. I've only been shaving for 1 1/2 weeks & I've read lots of different threads here & tried several. What I've found that works really well for me is shaving in the shower & letting HOT water run over my head as long as I can stand it. Then I massage Headslick shave gel into my scalp. I then shower & let the gel continue to soften up the stubble. Then I shave against the grain then with the grain with a Headblade. It glides through it like butter...when I just lather up & then go right into shaving, it feels like its pulling out the hair! Hope this helps.
