This post is my way of expressing how thankful I am in finding this site. I enjoy reading the messages, old and new. Keeps me inspired and committed to living the way of the sly. Being sly is slowly growing in number here in my country. I usually am not an outgoing person even if I am confident with being bald(on and off for 16 years now) . I find it hard to start a conversation with other sly guys even if I want to. This site offers me an outlet to express myself at the same time learn from other SBGs from all over the world. I feel I am in the company of friends every time I log in here.

Glad we can help you out. The Forum is a great support network. Even here in the US where being sly is more and more common, a shaved head still stands out and can get odd reactions / comments from some people. The guys on the Forum helped me get over some of my worries, so I'm glad to return the favor and help out.

This is a great site with great brothers and sisters who always have an answer and are always there when things seem to be going wrong,I would have to assume you are from the PI,since kalbo means bald in Tagalog,port of call when I was in the Navy Subic bay,anyway if I'm wrong from where you are from I apologize,but this is a graet fraternity that we belong to.

Yes Harleyman, I'm from the PI...and yes "kalbo" is the local term for bald. Always happy to log in and hear from the SBG brotherhood.

I am thankful for the support I have gotten from SBG. THisis an wawesome website. Lots of great advice is shared here.
