Shockingly I was more pissed when my car got broken into. I don't know, maybe with so much other sh*t piling up right now it just seems surreal. I will say that this hasn't been the best year so far.
Jeez Tyler ... Sorry to hear this. As someone who has also had a run of bad luck with cars, I can sympathize. You have Lo-Jack or any similar product on it ?

The best anti theft device is a engine kill switch. I can't remember the company but basically if the vehical is more than a km from a key chain fob, the vehicle will not start, and if it's on the move it will kill the engine. Imagine stealing a car only having it stall on you within eyesight of the owner. There are also ignition kill switches I believe.
While I was golfing today someone decided that they needed my car more than I do. It turns out that it was the fourth Honda stolen in the area in 2 days...3 today. If you're wondering if I play golf in a bad area, it wasn't. Actually the golf course is across the street from Google's headquarters. Luckily I didn't have anything of real value in the car, but it was a good car that was paid off and it will be hard to find one that was taken care of that well for the amount I'm likely to get for it. There happens to be a Greatful Dead concert at the amphitheater next to the golf course all this week. The cops think the dead heads are stealing cars to get around in-between concerts. I guess a lot of them hitchhike in to the show.
