I had a great weekend in California. Did some wine tasting, went swimming, drove around, went on a date with a hot California girl, just overall had a great weekend. When we headed home yesterday there was basically a traffic jam on I-15 from LA to Vegas.
Sounds like one hell of a weekend!
On friday i went to a show with my little brother and his g/f, and Mrs. Mvmnt went to a bar with her girl friends. near midnight i get a text that basically says "theres some a**holes here who wont leave us alone" as im parallel parking. needless to say, ive never PP'ed that fast, nor that well. I walked into the bar (chest inflated, bald head gleaming... you guys know what im sayin
) and it was immediately known who i was there with, because nothing beats a table of women shouting your name and coming to hug you. So once i sat down, these guys decided to introduce themselves to me, and every single one had a grip like a dead fish. I dont know how you guys feel about this, but to me a firm, respectable handshake means a lot. And i mean, if youre "man enough" to hit on my wife after she tells you shes married and to piss off, have the testicular fortitude to shake my hand like a man.
Dominance was established real fast. And nobody got hurt.
you forgot the part about you beating their ass all by yourself bruce lee style lol. were the guys sly too? not that it matters j/w cuz maybe their confidence was sky high haha.
haha. no, they werent sly. But one of the poor guys needed to be though. oh well.
and yeah, even though my blood was 3 parts testosterone, 1 part jealous rage (hey, what can i do?

) and was flowing freely, if i can assert myself without raising a hand, then i feel like i did good.
whatever. the night ended well for me anyway.

haha

I work weekend.
My "weekends" are typically Monday and Tuesday.
But being 100% self employed... I really never get full days off.
But I am well!

After having this on my spring/summer agenda for about three years I finally made the trip to Taliesin (the Frank Lloyd Wright home and studio) in Spring Green, Wisconsin. Stayed in a wonderful B&B in Mineral Point, Wisconsin. It was pleasant weekend away from the noise and traffic of greater Chicago, though I wish I would have waited for slightly warmer weather.

Pretty good weekend for me. I had to buy a new TV as the old relic bit the dust. New TV will not fit in the hutch, guess you should take measurements before you buy! Solved the problem, moved the hutch out, set TV on another piece of furniture. Yikes! Helped the neighbor build a storage shed and lay a new walkway to his back yard. Plus side to this, got sun on the pink head. Tan coming in nicely. Also lost three pounds for the middle section. So, all in all-Great Weekend.

Thats another thing that happened, I had a sunburn on my head last week, it peeled and was annoying but now I have a nice tan on my head. After the sunburn I learned to never fall asleep in the car for a few hours while driving through the desert.

Red, have you ever been to Kohler and stayed at the American Club? Great place!

Saturday was kind of lazy. Sunday our Sunday School class hosted a church wide fund raising lunch. Ever try to feed 400 people in less than an hour!?!?!
Sunday afternoon about 3 I left for High Falls State Park with the camper and a cooler full of beer. Sunday and Monday were great!
