That sucks. I've never had my car stolen but I've had my car broken into twice. I think I'd be less pissed off if the whole car were stolen also.

Were you at Shoreline Golf Club?

Yeah, Shoreline.

Thanks guys.  No news yet.  The officer said that they most likely would have dropped it off within a couple hours of stealing it, but that it usually takes several days to find it.  Though, if they find it quick it's usually because it's been stripped and is sitting on the side of the road.  If they didn't do any major damage, it could take several days before someone reports it, especially if they park it in a parking lot.

The funny thing is that the car is a total cop magnet.  Another funny thing is that the officer was Sly.  When he asked if I had any stickers on the car I said, only one, it reads "Sly Bald Guys."  Then he asked if that was a website and I said "yep."  He said, "I've been there before, do you own it?"  Again, I said, "yep."  So that got us chatting a bit about websites.

Sorry to hear about your car Tyler. That is one of the nice things about living on this island no worries about car theft. I leave my key in the ignition of the car all the time. They don't steal cars here because they have no place to go.
