Not quite shameless plug for St Baldrick's
« on: February 14, 2007, 01:29:35 PM »
I realize that many guys (people) here with the group, in the past and going forward, have participated in St Baldrick's.  I just want to do a quick post to remind people about this event and great cause.

This year my wife has volunteered to be a shavee.  For those who would like to contribute to this cause, but don’t have a participant to donate to, here is a link to my wife’s page. http://www.stbaldricks.org/participants/shavee_info.html?ShaveeID=354#

Hindsight being 20/20 I should have made an SBG team when she signed up as a participant.

Hi, this is my first time on this site, my name is Tryeone Ruiz and I am Albert's (AR3) wife . I just wanted to say thank yYou to all of you who have donated to the St. Baldrick's event!! I have been thinking it over and am trying to deiced whether you are doing it for a selfless venture or if you just wanted to see a bald chick wear SBG clothing items. ;)  Personally I am thinking the latter of the two.  No matter, thank you to you who have donated and those of you who are going to donate and just haven't gotten around to it yet (hint-hint). I will be posting a before pic tonight after I get off work at the chocolate mill (Godiva Rocks! I hope everyone went there to get your sweeties chocolate for V-Day):o

Can't it be for both reasons ;)?    I mean it is a great cause to donate for, and yes curiosity killed the cat.

But seriously it was a no brainer to support somebody connected to the site in this event.

Tryeone - Great thing you are doing.  And as if being Albert's poor wife is not enough!  He definitely married up.

I'm planning to send in a donation.

Tryeone, you make the shirt look much better than the rest of us guys.  Albert, you must have got her drunk like I did to my wife to convince her to date me.

You da man Albert!  You do have a beautiful bride!

Will be donating later today or in the morning (anyone seen my debit card?...or my 14 year old daughter...I am sure they are in the same place!!!!!!!!!!!   :x!)

Great cause.  I lost my first wife (the birth mother of my two daughters) to cancer in 1995.  All cancer is devasting.  Children's especially.  We all need to support these types of causes.

Are you hitting on my wife, Tyler! ;)  It is a common man practice. ;)  the problem is you got to keep them drunk to stay. :-\
