Wow!  that first one looks good.  What exactly is in it?
I think I'll stay away from the Chicago dog...  way too many veggies for my liking!

The Italian Beef.... MMMMmmmmmm...

It's pretty much just thin sliced beef, slow roasted and then simmered in an au jus... different places season them a little differently, but they're all good!

On top, pretty much anything goes... giardinaria, peppers, onions, mozzerella, etc..

We'll have to get you one while you're here for the convention!

Definitely!  That's going to have to be something I try on the Friday while touring with PBurke!

Ahhhhh... the infamous regional foods!!

Here in Chicagoland, the Italian Beef reigns  !  As does the Chicago-style pizza and the Chicago dog...

Italian beef???

Here in Chicagoland "Kielbasa" reigns!

And everything that's Polish...............
Perogies
Golabki, stuffed cabbage
Zurek, white borscht
Kotlet Schabowy, breaded pork cutlet
Surowka, shredded carrots and beets
Kapusta Kwaszona, sour kraut
Makowiec, poppy seed cake
Drożdżówka, a type of yeast cake
Chłodnik, fruit soup
Golonka, pork knuckles cooked with vegetables
Kołduny, meat dumplings
Zrazy, stuffed slices of beef
Flaczki, tripe
Apfelstrudel, apple strudel

"Do dobrego stanu zdrowia!"

Oh, another of my favorites would be from Ecuador.
Empanadas de carne - meat, rice and veggie turnover
Ceviche de camaron - sort of like a soup with fish and shrimp
Fritada - fried pork
And Cuyes - Don't ask unless you have a REALLY strong stomach  :P
