^^^^ Funny, Jer.

I really only have two:
San Francisco - Boudin's Sourdough Bread
Las Vegas - The Lovely Mrs. Schro's Uncle's Margarita recipe. I've had a few 'ritas in my time, but NOTHING comes close to his. So far, he hasn't revealed his secret, but I hope to pry it out of him at the family reunion next month. If not, I'll try and have him give it to me in his will. The dude is still rockin & rollin' at 77.

Most other foods I like I can find local or cook myself. I enjoy cooking and love trying different things.

Agonizing over what cannot be is an insult to what is.

Pie, mash and liquor from the good ol' east end. I wouldn't eat jellied eels with it though  !*u%e

and rough cider from somerset.. there's nothing like it, none of that bottled fizzy rubbish for me!

Tri-tip BBQ - usually from California since you normally can't find that cut outside of CA.
Beer - I think I just found the best beer place ever in Philadelphia, PA called Monk's.
Pizza - California.  Really, I do think CA has the best pizza, and yes, I have tried all the "best" places in both Chicago and NY.
Sushi - Hawaii or California.  I also know of a great place in NYC.

Almost anything with green chile on it. In New Mexico it might as well be its own food group. We put it on pizza, cheeseburgers, omelette's, and of course the traditional New Mexican food. Breakfast burritos, enchiladas, chile relleno (green stuffed with cheese, battered and fried), green chile stew......I could go on for days

Some great Wisconsin Beer-n-Brats and Sauerkraut-n-Meatballs.

And I can't forget Pasties from Michigan (http://kenanderson.net/pasties/michigan.html) then wash it all down with the original Ginger Ale Vernor's (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vernors).

Kielbasa and pierogies!!! Ben, like me, you MUST be Polish!

Fish tacos in California (I've had them many places and they're just not the same)

Maryland crabs and crabcakes

Yuengling Black & Tans from Pennsylvania (excellent for a moderately priced bottle beer)

REAL Key lime pie
