I went to the barber and buzzed it to a #1 guard.

My baldness became even more apparent. I didn't like it. Went home and shaved my hair off with a razor. It's funny and weird, and I'm still trying to adapt to the peer comments. I took a picture of it for you guys to see.

However, I'm a bit concerned with the mark I have in the back of my head, since is quite big. I'll post it on another reply because I'm having a hard time with attachments yet. So, the slylyness.

It looks really good -- if it feels weird it will only be for a short while. Read the 30 day rule thread. I understand that for women who wear a lot of make-up not wearing any feels weird for a while also -- it's a bit like that for some people.

Post a pic of the back of your head and we will give you an evaluation.

I personally think that you look good with the bald look. And I wouldn't worry about the mark on the back of your head. Everyone has imperfections which make us unique. Yours just happens to be a mark. Not a big deal

Looks great....As far as the mark on the back of your head, many of us have scratches, scars, etc on our heads, but we still wear our bald heads with pride...and so can you....There are concealers to help you hide the mark if it is a big concern, however....Welcome to the Sly Club!

Looks good on you.  Give it 30 days(30 day rule) and then see how you feel about it.  I bet you will love it after you pass the 30 day challenge.

The hard part is over.you look very pleased with your head shaved bald. 30 days is a necessity. Gives you a chanced to get used to the new look and feel.

Keep the photos to about 65k and they will attach.

July would look well to keep shaving your head for the rest of your life! Enjoy the morning routine.

The shaved look is great, it's a keeper.
Just like others have already recommended you, give the 30 day rule a try.

I want to thank everyone for the support!

The experience, so far, has been actually pretty fun. First, no need for shampoo as combing or anything whatsoever. Second, the reactions are the funniest thing I ever came across. Third, I'm pretty much okay with it now. I'm still a bit eager for my head to tan evenly, but even then, many people agree that I'm looking quite good.

Now, about the mark on the head: It looks like this. It's not large enough to be a problem, but big enough to draw attention to itself. I'm not sure about the concealers, but I might try at some point.

Well, it's not taking long for you to adjust at all is it? That's really good. It's a great feeling  to be free from having to do this or that with our hair. Everything will become easier every day from now on.

With regards to the mark on the back of your head -- I definitely wouldn't bother trying to cover it up. Yes it is noticeable but  it's not really that big and it's quite handily symmetrically placed. It doesn't look "odd" or "bad" but it to someone who's attention is drawn to it [say by showing a photo] it looks "interesting". It adds a little something extra and unique to the package that is you. Rest assured though -- no one really cares if it's there or not and hardly anyone will even notice it on a conscious level. Most people are too worried about how they look themselves -- probably worried about their hair.

I don't think the mark is a big deal, but if it is that big of a concern, you could always see a dermatologist for a prescription for bleaching cream to at least make the mark fade if not completely disappear! But your head looks great as it is!

Yeah I was about to say the same thing.  Personally I think that the mark does not look bad but definitely go see a dermatologist if it really bugs you.  Like SlySirHarry said they can give you some bleaching cream.  You could even try a good over the counter spot bleacher just to see if that helps you first.  I got some that I am going to use on a few sun spots soon.  You can find it at any good drug store like CVS, Rite Aid, etc.
