Extremely sad, I have a friend who lives in one of the nearby towns. I'm glad no one here is politicizing this for left or right wing purposes like everywhere else on the net––let's just be mournful for the loss of lives, particularly for such young school children, who in this country should be able to go to school and not fear this sort of heinous and evil attack.

Agree !  Nothing but thoughts and prayers for those who have lost and friends and family's !  This is nothing new, it is just more of it and it will go on.  Some day we all will understand why.  But it will not be at this time or the many times before.  One day and at a time with thoughts and prayers for all the family's , etc..

Absolutely tragic, really really sad news. I really don't understand how someone could do this to so much innocent life, not just those who have passed but those who have had to witness this.

Sounds like it was some angry kid pissed off at his parents..........pathetic.

Such a waste

Truly a sad day... Innocent folks gunned down at a mall (Oregon) and now THIS... Prayers sent to all the families effected by these recent, tragic, events.

Cheers,
Ro

Very sad day in Connecticut.  This happened about 30 minutes from my house.  I attended a wake in Newtown a few months ago and was reminded of how nice a town it is, never imagining that something like this could ever happen there ...

Indeed a sad day.
I've read about it online and heard the news from a TV station too and I still can't imagine why a person would do such a thing.

My thoughts and prayers go to victims and community in Newton, CT.

Next time you see a person at work, school, or in your community that may not fit in, go up and talk to them. When you encounter strangers, smile at them; it's contagious. Before you decide to make fun of someone, remember that you did not appreciate when people made fun of you in the past. In short, it's the GOLDEN RULE - Do unto others as you wish they do unto you - because the more we practice it, the more valuable we will all be.

Now go teach your kids this lesson...it may just save their lives one day.
People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.

My sincere prayers and condolences to all affected....the surviving children will forever be traumatized by this; may the long process of healing begin.
