To my fellow bald guys and those who deal with Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), be of good cheer. We have passed the winter solstice in the north and the days are now going to get longer. The winter depression and related symptoms won't last too much longer.
It's a sunny day here (although forecasting rain for several days next week). In nippy temperatures and light breeze, I played Christmas Carols at the local Farmer's Market this morning. Not too many customers, but those who came out were treated with music, and good local products. The local blue cheese is FANTASTIC. Still harvesting broccoli and cauliflower here. Sweet potatoes, and some hand crafted items.
Merry Christmas to you all. Blessing as we end 2012. May you keep shaving your heads and enjoy the sly life.
Mr. Zed.
One of the things that I love about Dec. 21. Hooray for longer days.
Winter. Nice time to bake bread. Four loaves are in the oven right now. Two with cinnamon spiral inside, and two regular whole wheat. maybe a photo later when they come out of the oven.
I always love it when the winter solstice has occurred. We have passes the darkest day and in small ways one can already see changes each day we move ahead with a little more light. Being in the Northeast there are plenty of dreary days for sure but daylight will increase. Here is to the lengthening light.
