Thoughts and prayers out to all the family's.  all I can say is what a coward to do such a horrible thing like that and then to kill himself, what a coward.

As someone who works with children of the same age and in schools, I find this unbelievably upsetting. Schools are supposed to be safe places full of learning and nurturing. Because of the actions of one person the lives of so many people have been ireconceivably shattered.

I don't pretend to even know where to start in rationing why someone would do such a thing. Perhaps he was bullied as a child, perhaps he was mentally ill, perhaps he was just evil..I dont care.

I wonder how many times events like these occur before a serious review of gun laws are instigated.

I don't think gun laws are the issue, as (sadly) someone in Shanghai, China used a knife to kill/wound 23 school kids this week. Besides, you don't want to venture into political topics, which is a no-no per SBG board rules.

As far as I am concerned you haven't.

As I watch the funeral's and think of all that are suffering .  Our Prayers should be sent for those at this time !  These people have a everyday life to carry out and then have to go to each of the funerals.  I would pray for the strength of these fellow american's to help them at this great time of sorrow.

To me that is the main item at this time !

Thank God the kids in China survived.

That's because the assailant, although just as mentally ill, was armed with only a knife rather than a semi automatic assault rifle and two 9mm handguns.

Not a problem partner. Not political, just current affairs, IMHO.

Just nipping things in the bud, no harm.
