Hi Guys,

I was just wondering if anyone has had anyone go as far as question whether you belong to a racist/white power group because of your hair (or lack thereof)?! 

I'm not actually 100% "white", so, I don't really have to deal with this, but I had a friend in college who shaved his head completely and actually got some comments on the subway from people who thought he was a skinhead!   :/O

I really hope this isn't a common occurance for people

There's been a few instances with some of the SLY GUYS around here.

There's always gonna be narrow minded idiots that want to pigeon hole you into a category.

Yeah the 'SkinHeads' get a rough deal over this.Skinhead is a music thing,where what people are refering to is Neo-Nazi Idiots..best just to ignore the fools

R.D. welcome to the site brother...

I have gotten looks from others and I can't tell whether they are stereotyping me or are just jealous. As far as comments, RobMeister is correct, this day and age the SLY look is everywhere. I think in time you will see that those comments wereout of ignorance from a few jealous and insecure individuals.

Haven't EVER gotten that...i thought i would get it early on it the 90's...but even then didn't.

Now, maybe if i wore a bomber jacket, suspenders and some Doc Martens...but never do.

I think it depends on where you are.  I don't ever get any comments where I live now.  But I've had a few instances when I've traveled to smaller, more rural towns.  The thing is, the people that I knew that were/are really racist, didn't shave their heads.

I live in "the south" and haven't had any issues. Of course there are alot of biker clubs and I am very close to FT. Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield. Alot of shaved heads around here.

PS... Never met anyone 100% White. I figure if I do they will be riding a unicorn next to a rainbow with a pot of gold.... and I'll be drunk off my A** chasing the leprechaun  :)

Like RazorX, I am about as White as they come.  They only negative comments I have received have come from 65 -70 year old men, one of which told me that people would begin to call me "Skinhead" now. :/O
