i am probably gonna spring for a trainer just to get me started. that way i don't try to be superman or something. lol

He'll also push you harder than you'd push yourself -- and teach you the right way to do things, so you 'll get faster results and avoid injury.Good luck.
Hey Paulie, make sure you ease back into it. If it's been a long time since you've done any gym work, the last thing you should do is start out with an intense workout and end up sore as can be the next day.Good luck.

My favorite thing to do when I've been out of the loop for awhile is hit it hard (as long as I don't drop the bar or use improper form). I will be very sore the next few days, to me it's just my body's way of saying thanks for a job well done, and a reminder to keep at it. After that first week the pain subsides, and you are in the zone Paulie!
