I use neither.  I set up my grill to run on natural gas from the house supply.  No worries about tanks to refill.

Now I need to run a gas line under the deck at our new house for the grill.  We're having a father's day cookout this weekend.

If I liked my dad I'd have a cookout too, but use charcoal.

I use a Weber Kettle BBQ and really enjoy getting it going.. I like to do roasts of beef, pork and lamb on it..
Go easy on the starter fuel.. or you will have found yet another alternative to the Mach III or Fuzion  ;D!

We use a starter chimney, two sheets of newspaper, no petroleum aftertaste at all, a little kinder on the environment too, but I'm not ever giving up my grill because of its carbon footprint,  :x! :x! :x!, BELIEVE ME.

Saint, before too long we'll be purchasing "carbon credits" just to grill a slab of meat  >:(

If not, I understand.

I use propane. I'm too impatient for charcoal.  Plus it's messy.

Charcoal always.

Grilling is like shaving my head.  It is a process that can not be rushed.
