I prefer safety razors. I used an iKON slant razor a few days ago. I welcome any one to try out a safety razor and give it at least a "30 day" test drive.

Warhawk got me into DE shaving, before that I was all about Headblade. I kept all of my Headblade equipment so sometimes I'll use a ATX mid day to get rid of the stubble.

I've been using Headblade products for years. I started with the original Headblade and found my perfect shave with the Head Blade sport using Sensor 3 blades.
a few days ago I went shopping in the US and purchased the HeadBlade ATX. Sadly Head blade products are no longer sold in any stores in Canada.
I've used it three times and so far it's taking some getting used to. I'll give it a fair shake before I decided to reach for the old trusty sport again.

It took me about a week and a half to get used to the ATX.

I recently returned to DE. The Fusion Proglide and Headblade were good, however, paying for cartridges put a painful dent in my wallet. Plus, DE (with shaving oil to supplement) gives me a cleaner shave that lasts longer.
However, I keep Fusion disposables in my locker at work when I need to touch up for any after work activities.

How long will an electric shaver last, i heard that its performance will die down over time. Furthermore i heard that they can easily malfunction. :S
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Im so puzzled i dont know what to use to shave my head, and standard razor or electric one, and what brands or how many blades
Someone please message me if they can help me out. Thanks.

In my experience (shaving my head sly since last October), you get a much closer shave with a blade. However, I do use a Panasonic 8103 Arc 3 electric occasionally and it does okay but takes forever even on 1-2 days of growth. Typically, my shave routine is using a Gillette Fusion Proglide razor every other day in the shower with either Gillette Foamy Menthol, Barbasol Arctic Chill, or CO Bigelow (Proraso) and Osage Rub or Aqua Velva Ice Blue as aftershave.

Mach 3 I have been using consistently now for a few weeks and can't fault the shave. So easy to shave with and quick!
