Hey guys new here. I've been shaving my head for about 7 years. It might sound wierd, but I use olive oil, shaving gel and a Fusion. I talk a hot shower and wash my nug really well. Then I put about a dime sized drop of EVO on my scalp. Then I lather up what ever shave gel I have(Edge, I think) I go over it once. Then if I have to go back over, I give it another shot of EVO(lube is the key and olive oil is cheaper than shaving oil). I'm not totally sold on the Fusion. I'm probably going back to a Mach 3, it seemed to give me a closer shave.
Welcome G!

After using the Fusion, I thought this was a slam dunk as far as what razor would be using from here on out. However, I have been reborn after discovering the M5 thanks to all you M5 Sly's out there, I will use the M5 from now on, it cuts just as close, if not closer than the Fusion, and is a fraction of the cost in refills, you cannot go wrong! it is about time a razor like this came out to compete, and in this case, beat the big wigs of the razor industry. joy!

HeadBlade sport all the way! I find it far too awkward handling a stick razor.

I finally broke down and bought a Headblade Sport. And I have to say that it was a 13 dollar learning experience. I have never cut my head until I got this razor. Definitely not for me. It was easy to get used to using. Over all a great concept. I didn't think it shaved as close as my regular razor (except on the bump on the back of my head). I think it is because of the blades you are limited to using. YMMV

I use the Mach III. Over the years I've tried other blades, headblade included but have stuck with the III. I have a pal who works for Gillette and he gave me a pack of the next generation blades to use (sssshh!).

They lost my luggage on a flight last week, so I had to buy another razor--I'm getting close to a dozen now. Could only get Fusion, and I just convinced myself--much closer, long lasting w/ M5, for my dome, the closest thing to the Holy Grail of Shaving.
