My barber trimmed it back a little more than I really wanted just before Christmas but I will be busy at work in January and won't have time to go back so it's probably just as well. That's the only real change aside from getting greyer.
Seem to remember you used to have goatee. Is the full beard a permanent feature ?

At the end of last year I moved from South to North and after a couple of months off I'm starting to job hunt and am aware a big beard isn't everyone's taste. I liked it but I have to say it was also getting to the point I wasn't feeling tidy enough for interviews. So I've stripped back and am slightly in mourning.

The longer beard was impressive, BeardBald, but the shorter version is just as dashing.
Hope the interviews go well for you!

It doesn't feel as short today. Once interviews are out of tge way I'll go longer but not sure I want bulk as I just feel scruffy.

I am not saying the trimmed beard does not look good, but I am always a little sad when a bearded brother trims or shaves a good looking beard. Hopefully after you land a job it will be back bigger and better.

ah. it's cool. I didn't have masses taken off the length and it's not as short as it looks in the pic. To be honest it did feel a bit scruffy. My beard is quite curly and it did feel a bit unkempt. I'm kinda liking it now it's a bit more styled. I think it's a bit more me!

It looks less short in the pic I took yesterday than when the barber styled it.

Looks sharp, Stn87.
How many weeks/months have you been growing it?

usually I cut my beard leaving it in a length of 3 mm . however three weeks I've grown a beard without trimming ago.
