Things change from day to day mj. Find life fun now days , wish I would have learned it years ago.
Cheers bloke, I'm glad I am living up to my name
Beardman, your own beard is a piece of living art.
It's been nearly 7 weeks since I last went to the barbers to have my trimmed. It's getting to the stage where its taking on a life of its own.
Haha thanks Mr Jules, I've never thought of it that way...
Your beard is coming along nicely itself, If you go visit the barber again don't go see that butcher!

They say you are never to old to learn, some people just take longer to learn then others, I'm glad you are enjoying life again though, it's too short to be wasted not having fun!

Very keen to avoid the beard butchering I had last November.
There's an easy to avoid having your beard over trimmed at the barber's. Just don't go the barbers !
Have to say that I really like the feel of the fuller beard hanging off my chin. Especially after washing, the beard is particularly soft.

True thing about the last part of the comment: my father's beard was as prickly as ... I grew up where we would kiss on the cheek for a greeting. Wasn't fun. Oddly, I experienced the same thing when I grew mine out.
Especially after a good conditioning... I love the feel of my beard just after I get out of the shower.
Well, here is my beard progress. It is over 4 months old now! I also posted in my Epic Beard 2012 post!
Here's mine. I haven't shaved since 12/21/12. It would be a bit longer but I trimmed it back twice to try the shorter look. I may still do that but for now I'm letting it go on its own for a while.
All the beards are looking really good at the moment....waiting for mine to grow back in...bit jealous of the really full beards at the mo....
Epic Beard indeed Marsh! I'm always impressed with your handiwork
Doug, your beard is coming only superbly! Experimentation is one of the fun parts of growing a beard
F77, yours will catch back up again. I agree though, there has been some pretty awesome beards of late
for now I'm letting it go on its own for a while.
That sounds like a plan, and just think of all the money you'll save on razor blades.
Looks great D O U G . All these beards around here are making me envious.

Promising start. Do not touch your growing beard for the first four weeks. Only after then, consider visiting a barber for shape or trim.
