Thanks for the responses guys! I like it here all ready. At this stage im off on a round the world trip starting 1st September and i'm thinking of doing it just prior to leaving or just as I get to my first destination.. But i'm a little worried that I will freak out and it might ruin my trip.. As i'm dependant on meeting other people to travel with.. If i'm psyhing out about my hair or hate my sly look i'm going to be one very lonely traveller!
Welcome. You should fit right in, there are a bunch of young bald guys here like me, I am 19.
I always have a heap of respect for the younger members on forums like this (no offence to the elders - you guys are just as great) because although your not going bald yourself are you Lophura? I still can appreciate the balls / courage it takes to join and esp post pics of yourself - the balf guys in particular - at this age..

I am definitely one of the older guys around here, but let me just say that you a fretting too much. Just go ahead and shave the dome. Now is as good as time as any, but you can certainly wait until you begin your trip if you want to. (It sounds like a great adventure, btw.) When you travel people will accept you as who you are...it may take a few days for you to make actually-being-bald part of your identity; but once you do man you are going to love it. -
