The active ingredient in TendSkin is aspirin, so if you are allergic to aspirin, watch out!
I think the story about TendSkin is on their website, but it's effectiveness on ingrown hairs was discovered by accident.

Got tired of the my blades and her blades so I did settle for her blades which are Gillette and are called Venus Vibrance as they also fit my Gillette Mach 3 vibrating razor handle. They are also made for sensitive skin which of course works best for her.
I have been using Gillette foam for sensitive skin. I start out by shaving back, then again forward after all the back stuff is done. After the forward is done then I go side to side until my head is smooth... no nubs that I can detect period.
This is the morning shave....
After a day in the heat, when I come home to shower, I repeat the same process as above. To some it may seem vain, but its like sporting a 5 0clock shadow at the end of the day. If I can feel nubs after being out all day, I got to shave, I just like feeling nothing but skin and to see shine after.

1. wake up and roll out of bed
2. shave face 1st using my gillette fusion (manual) + dove unscented moisturizing soap
3. after shaving... i ask wifey 2 shave my dome
4. she gets a warm hot wash cloth and let it sit on my dome 4 several minutes
5. lathers my dome with the dove soap (she prefers the dove soap versus the KOS alphagel & fusion gel)
6. wifey gets my trusty fusion & shaves back of head (against the grain)
7. then top of head ..... then sides (all against the grain)
8. give wife a kiss & thank her 4 a gr8 shave
9. cold water rinse then follow up with a good ice cube rub
10. wait 5-7 minutes then apply gillette aftershave lotion
11. wait 5-7 minutes then apply sunscreen

Woke up, fell out of bed,
Dragged a comb across my head
Found my way downstairs and drank a cup,
And looking up I noticed I was late.
Found my coat and grabbed my hat
Made the bus in seconds flat
Found my way upstairs and had a smoke,
Some body spoke and I went into a dream
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I usually shave in the pm every second day. Routine is simple. Apply shaving gel, shave against grain with Schick Extreme III, dry head and use fingers in a circular pattern to feel for stubble, dry shave off any remaining stubble. That's it. Sometimes I apply some aftershave, but mostly just go au natural

Amen to that. I spend about 15 minutes shaving my head and my face. It comes out smooth so I am pleased. Believe me, if I can figure out a way to cut that 15 min down to 10 min, I will be all over it
. I love the look and feel of my smooth head, not necessarily the act of shaving it. Know what I mean?

Absolutley,
The feel of a shaved dome is what makes it all worth it.
One thing found that makes shaving quicker is to do it in the shower.
I've cut my shaving time from 15-20 mins at sink only down to 10 mins in shower and maybe a 1-2 minute touch up reapply to get the rough spots at the sink.

WARHAWK! You dont know how to shave your dome? OK I have heard it all. That is just plain being lazy. Even though it would be nice to feel a womans hands on the dome first thing in the morning straight from the shower and not have to dream about her actually doing....(slap slap wake up Tim!)...anyways....Bro.....You're a grown man ...its not that hard LOL I saw we all go down to Florida and kidnap Warhawk and put him on a desserted island somewhere. maybe we can send him off onto survivor? That would be cool... lol
See ya buddy,
Tim

Lots of good information here, My routine:
I shave in the shower, hot water is a must.
Wash face and head with Neutrogena Skin clearing face wash
I then gently rub a small fingernail brush over the scalp and face to lift any ingrown hairs. I often have problems with ingrown hairs. ( lol don't laugh it works for me)
Lather face and scalp with Edge Advanced Sensitive Skin
Gillette Sensor3 Disposable razors, I shave with the grain, rinse with cold water.
Magic Moisturizing After Shave Lotion.
Alcohol is a must afterwards, I get razor bumps if I don't. (I may need to find an alternative)
I'm going to try that Gillette Fusion Manual, thanks for the tips all.
