it prolly takes me roughly 15-20 minutes because im really picky. i go over my head like 4 times in different directions to make sure i dont miss any spots. i guess im just too lazy too spend 20 minutes in front of the mirror everyday. but by all means im gonna try cuz i REALLY want to keep a smooth dome. the first week will probably be the hardest part but once i get past that im hoping it will be as easy as pie. it will be a normal thing like brushing my teeth, deodorant, etc.
How much time did you used to spend fussing with your hair?

ive always shaved every other day but starting tommorow im gonna try the every day thing cuz i REALLY want to have a smooth dome daily. i just dont understand how you guys have so much time to shave EVERY day i either dont have the time or im too lazy for daily shaving. and also doesnt shaving every day irritate your head by making it sore or something or razor burn?
i tried the everyday thing for a week when i first started going sly but dropped it down to every other day cuz it just wasnt working. i couldnt get a smooth shave cuz i didnt have enough hair grown in yet. so the razor just cut and knicked my head.
After taking care of pre and post shave duties properly, I've always been able to shave my head everyday. Before that, I use to get bad irritation AND bad shaves. I also think your head adjusts to the frequency of your shaving. I still can't shave twice a day though...
Maybe some modifications in your shave routine would make shaving everyday easier.

I always find that I have less scalp irritation when I shave every day. I usually skip one day over the weekend but if I let it go any longer than that, I start to break out. I can see the bumps on top of my head under the bright lights in the bathroom, at the end of a day that I didn't shave.

I'm with Razor here. If I don't shave every day, I get really irritated on the back of my head. It's like when the hair is growing it holds on to the skin and raises it. It is sore for at least 3 days. So it just makes sense to shave everyday. Plus you can't go wrong with a smooth dome. You never can tell when that hottie will ask if she can rub it.

You don't want to be caught unprepared.

I'm with Razor and BaldMark. I start breaking out if I don't shave every day. Every once in a while, I'll skip a day, but that's all my head can take. I get no irritation at all as long as I exfoliate first and let the hot water in the shower soften-up the stubble. Also, I can get an incredibly smooth dome with just a pass or two of the razor going against the grain. If I went over it four or five times, I think I'd have irritation.

Virtually every day, sometimes twice a day if I don't like the way ot feels. When I leave it for a couple of days I just feel bad about it.

Daily - like many others I can't stand the velcro feeling and a nice baby butt smooth head just starts my day off right!

Every day in the warm weather, every other day in the winter. I prefer a smooth dome, but the velcro helps hold the beanie in place when it's cold.

Wow, what a relief reading this was. This made my day. I always wanted to shave my head every day but was told by someone it wasn't too great for the scalp. Looking forward to finally getting ride of that stupid stubble once and for all.

This is my third day of the "every day shave" routine. This has been my best shave yet! I think it just took a few times for my noggin to get used to daily shaving. I was concerned about irritation and bumps, but with the in-depth shave routine I use (thanks to this forum) everything is going well. Finally rid of the stubble!

Shaving everyday has really made my skin tough. My girlfriend said she can tell the difference since I first went sly. However, although my skin is tough, it's still nice and smooth.

Another every day here. I do admit that I probably miss one or two days every now and again.
I also shave twice a day for special occasions But, thanks be to Ward for the eternal line...."I also think your head adjusts to the frequency of your shaving." Dude I'm in total agreement with that. I mean, how else can you explain it all??
