We rarely eat out -- it's a special occasion thing. I cook every evening except Fridays (when we get take-out from the local Chinese joint).
We eat once a week at our fav mexican restaurant. Been doing it for years. Its therapy of sorts. We don't even order from the menu, they just bring us our usual when we walk in the door.
We used to eat out once or twice a week, but we've cut back on that bigtime.
Now it's maybe a couple of times a month.
We're big on mexican too, sly.
We eat out a couple of times a week as a family. I end up eating alot of fast food during the week for lunch. I would like to get on a better routine of taking my lunch and eating healthier for lunch. But it seem to take more planning than I have been doing lately.
We almost never eat out. We go out on the anniversary and sometimes for b-days. When we are going to be traveling to shows and such we cook alot of easy stuff and stick it in bags and bowls so we can toss it in the cooler. I think the last time we ate out was back in April. It would be nice to go to a chinses place every now and then but most of the stuff is so easy to cook and dirt cheap.
Also we went to a new Russian resteraunt in town last winter and I expected to have food like mom cooked like a nice warm borsht and piroshkies and all the good home cooking, we went and I ordered what sounded good and it was nasty. I should have known it wouldnt be good when I noticed that none of the employees could speak Russian. It was disappointing.
The wife and I used to eat out 2-3 times a week but since we have been trying to lose weight it's down to about 1 to 2 times a month....I have lost over 20 lbs since June ..
Most of our eating out is at lunch, probably 2 to 3 times a week. Though, we probably eat out for dinner once a weekend; usually with family or friends.
Chinese is ordered in once a week and so is Italian here. I try to wokr out to neutralize the damage. LOL
In Pa. NO SMOKING LAW JUST WENT IN TO EFFECT AND IT'S BEEN GREAT FOR BUSINESS, THIS REALLY HELPED OUR RESTAURANT, MONEY IS TOUGH THESE DAYS.
This went into effect some time ago here in NS, restaurants aren't hurting, they just opened outdoor patios.
