I'm always working, but I have the flexibility to work anywhere I need to, so it balances out.

Mine is complicated since my wife and I own our own business. We are open Monday - Friday 8 -5. However, I work Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 7p - 7a at a rural hospital. I'm the x-ray tech.
Here now actually. On the days I work nights I sleep from noon to 5:45pm and my wife takes care of the store.

I think I may have the oddest schedule out there. As most know, I'm in Law Enforcement so I do shift work. There are basically 2 different shifts, the 8am to 8pm or 8pm to 8am. I mainly work nights cause that's when the most interesting things happen. Our rotation is somewhat odd though and rotates every 2 weeks, starting with Monday/Tuesday on, Wednesday/Thursday off, Friday/Saturday/Sunday on, Monday/Tuesday off, Wednesday/Thursday on and back to Friday/Saturday/Sunday off.
Where it REALLY gets odd though, is due to how I'm Federal, and all Federal Government employees in Canada are mandated to work the standard 7.5hr days. LOL, try to follow this now, every 8 weeks, on a normal 7.5hr day Monday to Friday you end up with 300hrs, but on the 11.5hr shifts we end up with 322hrs. SO, every 8 weeks, I get a stretch of 7 days off without having to use any vacation.
LOL so it's weird as hell but makes for lots of time off...
I think that's a basic rule of thumb for any Government though, if it makes sense, works and is easy, then they don't do it.

I work a 40 hour week. I work each day until I finish the work at hand. If we aren't authorized overtime, when I run out of hours, I'm done for the week. I usually run out of hours early Friday afternoon.

My usual hours when I go to the office are about 8 to 6 M-F. However b/c of being a consultant, that changes when I'm at a client or on the road visiting leases. Luckily we are flexible so, Blackberry+Laptop means I can work at home if I need to, however I'm not too productive when I do that.
