When I see a guy with shaved sides and wearing a cap, for the most part I politely express my displeasure with someone shaving his head and then covering it up. Why shave your head if your going to cover it up?
Exactly!

I for one will be wearing one less. I had one on today but kept taking it off. It just felt weird. I just have to remember to SPF my dome!

Yeah, it really does. I had to wear something for the first 5-6 days after the Great Freeze Off, but I'm not comfortable wearing even a baseball cap or beanie--just like it free and easy. But, lots of SPF 50-70 soaked in then buffed off-- feels great now that spring seems to be here.
Every thing is cool, I hope, w/ your renewed sly status--the wife is adapting as you are now comfortable I hope.

Yup! Everyone is adapting fine!!! Life is good

Thanks for asking.
What brand sunscreen do you use that is in the 50-70 range? I'll probably need something at about that level.

Exactly. I was kind of hoping for spring the last couple of days, but today and tomorrow, winter is back for (hopefully) one last gasp. Need a cap for that. Also, since I have kind of sensitive eyes, I like baseball caps in the blinding sun to give me a bit of shade.
The funny thing is, if I don't shave my head, or at least buzz it pretty close, baseball caps, and many hats, don't fit me. Now that I'm sly, it works for me.

I usually waer a hat for the cold and sun protection like others have said. I own several driving caps and a few fedoras.

Banana Boat 50spf
Neutrogena 70spf
I'm just about out of both so I have to go looking for something soon. I may try something new, but in that range--I like to have both levels if possible.

I actually wear one less. My work place has went to the use of hair nets only and won't let us wear ball caps. Since I obviously don't need a hair net

I just go au natuarale

I think I have one in here somewhere but I don't plan on searching so I do one here.
I hate wearing hats, always have. They seem to give a pressure and give me a headache. In the summer is always use sunblock, but if out for very long I will wear a hat. And in the winter I need one for the cold. But at first chance I take it off so I can show off my sly head!

I rarely wear hats. Except to my son's baseball games. Cover up with a hooded sweatshirt when it is a cool morning.

I have plenty of baseball caps hanging on the wall. I guess I really don't have much use for them. Now that I'm bald, why cover it up. I just rather show it off and enjoy the comfort and freedom of not having to cover up a beautiful bald head.

I wear a Greek fisherman's cap when it's cold, a do rag when it's hot. In hot weather, I'll expose the dome once in a while so I don't get the two-tone look.
