My first out of town headshave would have been when we travelled 4 hours north of Sydney for my friends bachelor party. 15 guys and I was the only headshaver, there were many questions but a respect was shown.
There were a few guys there who I tried to talk into taking the plunge but they didnt have the cojones -

I travel A LOT for work, and normally I would just shave my head sly every Friday upon my return home. But today was my first day 100% sly at work. Only received one comment from a coworker who said it looked nice (but he's the nicest person in the world and would never say anything negative). Anyway, so yeah I finally brought all my "sly tools" with me on the road. I'm hoping to keep it up! Being a "Weekend Sly" just isn't good enough
