Before I found a method that worked for me using the Headblade I found a guy on ebay selling the Fusion blades for just under $65 shipped for a pack of 40 if that helps.

When I started shaving, I used the Gillette Atra disposable on my head for a couple of weeks then I started using the regular Atra, which I was using for just my face, for both my face and head. Then I switched to the Mach III which I still use.
I tried the Fusion, but even though it has more blades it seemed to take more work to get as smooth of a shave as the Mach III. Also the cost of blades was a turn off, since I go through one blade a week. Plus I had a bit of an accident with the Fusion. I was in a hurry one day and the razor slipped out of my hand, went up in the air, I tried to duck out of the way but it came down with the single blade side giving the top of my ear a nice little slice. Man do ear cuts bleed!!!!!

I've been shaving my head for over 10 years now, and for a very long time, I used a Mach 3, and was quite happy with it.
I received a Head Blade as a gift awhile back and used it only a handful of times before abandoning it. It usually caused rather gruesome injuries, no matter how careful I tried to be. And if I was in a hurry (as in the first time I used it,) I looked like a refugee from a horror film. I am convinced that the Head Blade is not a shaving accoutrement, it is an instrument of torture and disfigurement, obviously invented by someone who hates bald people.
When my Mach 3 finally gave up the ghost recently, I got a Schick Quattro Titanium. It gives an amazingly close shave, but tends to retain gunk between the blades pretty badly. To this end, I use an old toothbrush (one that looks NOTHING like the one I use to brush my teeth with...to avoid a seriously gross moment!) to help keep it clean.

The only one I have used is the Headblade. Been shaving now for a couple of months. Was real careful at first to avoid carnage. Now that I have gotten used to it I can sling that little sucker around my head like a race car with no damage to the dome. I love how it contours my hand, just like rubbing my hand over my scalp.

Peace to the Sly Bros.,
Headblade used to be my bread and butter, but I'm getting addicted to fusion power. Incredible shave, with no effort. Great handling around the ears. I got a permanent scar behind my right ear from the H.B., it's has to be my 2nd string for now on. Fusion has the start definitely.

I have been using the Head Blade for a little over a week and found it very easy, I do want to look into some shaving oils, and after product though. Paul

i started out with the disposable stick razors but they suck and i am sick of them I then tried the headblade but it's not working like i thought it would(guess i believed the hype too much)
I'm really interested in trying an electric razor. I do have a few questions though, will i get a close shave, will it stop the irritation i get after using regular blades, if i did decide to get an electric razor, what would be the best one to use for my head( i head foils get a close shave) but i'm wanting to know a specific brand to get.
If the electric razor doesn't work, the only option i got is that rolling razor that looks pretty neat, can you guys please help me?

First post,,,
Head blade all the way.
I have had short,, slightly longer than buzzed for quite a while,, but I need to cut it about every three weeks. Well Saturday after threatening to shave it all,,, I walked down stairs, out the back back door with the clippers,,, and it was gone. Ran over my coconut with the electric razor (Braun) grabber the HB and went at it. Results looked good, but stubble was there. I decided to get HBs shave cream, and this am it is SMOOOOOOOTH, I am not associated in any way with HB, it just seemed like the safest way for me.
For you head bladers.. do you like the Atra or the Sensor blades?
Thanks,
Tom

Gillette Fusion Power........its smooth, gives a closer shave & fast !!! all it takes me is ~8 strokes (4 front & 4 back); 2 on the sides. Gillette Mach 3 turbo is not bad either.
