I eat a lot of grilled chicken, steamed vegetables, drink lots of water, and have a protein shake every morning.
They key to weight loss I have found is a good diet, exercise, and cutting out the sugar, fatty foods and excesssive booze.

Hey Hierophant, I see you get your protein powder from GNC. Try online stores like

What are the portion sizes on the meals you eat? Is it like 1 medium breast of chicken or more? I have been doing weights but not gaining like I want to. I take supplements but not eating 7 meals. Help Appreciated.

I could never be a body builder. I'm just way too skinny to put on mass. Tried protein shakes, working out, everything. I get cut, really cut if I get serious, but no mass.
Looks good dude.

Yea I used to work out.. 1.5 hr for the gym.. and 2 to 3 hrs of biking.. and I was a vegitarian at that time. I used to way arround 150 to 155 at 5 feet 9 I was slim.. in shape yes..
Now.. I'm at 195, no more biking and no gym .. but going back at the gym in november and hopefully stop smoking one more time.
my goal is to get rid of the fat and gain on muscle. i don't want to get less than 180 or get even more in mass and get it to 210 all depends on how I get rid of the fat before I start back at the gym..

As I posted on another thread, I'm looking to bulk up in a big way. Was thinking of a combo of muscle and fat; bult a couple of you guys discouraged me on that. So; what are some good ways to bulk up; Work out and lots of protein, i know. Anything else?

John, bulking up with fat is not something you want to do. Adding muscle is the way to go, and what you need to do is work the major muscle groups. Do deadlifts, squats and pressing exercises.
Do less reps with a higher weight (that you can handle comfortably).
Ease back on the cardio if you do a lot of it.
For your nutrition, you will need to up the protein intake a bit too. Check out wodie's post below #2.
If that doesn't work, try Schro's suggestion.

I second that.
I was boney 135 lb skater until I was about 25 and wanted to get bigger, a friend took me under his wing and get me going on a good gym workout using more weight... a few months later my arms looked more like my legs had looked and I was boney no more.
