Andrew Ridgely (sp?)....
OK, here's one for our gay SBGs (well, and everyone else for that matter). During the 80's this heavy metal band was one of the leading acts in the world. Their lead singer (classically trained as an opera singer) is gay. Name the band and the singer.

Good guess, but no. Don't think I'd consider Queen heavy metal.

Rob, I believe it was the Sony walkman, and CD's, which led to portable cd players.
In turn, it just about sounded the death knoll for cassette tapes.

CD's is one of the answers I was after
The walkman may have been one....but there was another one that was probably the HUGEST "medium" to EVER hit the music biz...

I'll guess false
"False" is correct.....'80's were marked by the HIGHEST interest rates on record. Mortgage rates were in the teens!!!!!!
weren't the 90's worse?
High interest rates are good and bad.....bad when it comes to mortgages, credit cards, etc........good when it comes to what banking/investment products pay YOU.
The lowest rates on record hit just recently in 2002/2003 (forget which one).
