My latest beard photo:
Nice coverage, Slybeard! I'm recurling my mustache for Movemeber/November, but I like the way yours is curled.

Whoa. Major beard envy, BeardBald & SlyBeard.
I made the mistake of going to a barber I did not know two weeks ago to get mine shaped. He cut about an inch off the chin even after I told him I wanted the length of the goat part to stay as it was. When I yelped, he told me he thought I would have wanted him to make it closer to the seven week old beard on my cheeks. No, he did not get a tip.
Oh well. It's just hair. It will grow.

Still looks good, Tom...it fits your face/head structure well. I made a pact with myself to avoid barbershops for the whole month of November...just to see what happens with my beard.

Cave,
It may not be a long as you wanted, but it still look s good. It is hard to find a barber that does a good job on beards that are longer than a short stubble type of beard. I here similar barber stories frequently on another board I participate in that is focused on beards. So if you don't want to trim it yourself, the best bet is to find a barber with a beard that is styled similar to what you want and/or has clients with a beard style you want.

I wish my beard were more dense. But then I wonder whether beard density is tied to MPB, because testosterone. So, the fact that my MPB is minimal, for which I've always been thankful (prior to now), may be the same reason that my beard isn't particularly dense, for which I've always been sad.

Munky, It may just be your age. My beard was sparse, especially on my cheeks, until my mid 40's. I also did not start thinning until about the same time.

Slowly returning to the length it was before the barber chopped off the goat a few weeks ago.
