Shave Secret: The story
« on: May 16, 2012, 05:27:52 AM »
It was time to buy more Shave Secret. I went to a different Walmart than I normally shop. Found the shaving aisle.  I looked and looked for Shave Secret. Could not find it.  Must have spent almost 15 minutes back and forth over the long aisle of shaving products.  It was not well stocked and looked like the 'on special' tie table at K-Mart after 10,000 customers have picked over the ties and dumped them back on the table all disheveled.

A man walked up to me. Short hair on top, shaved chin. And he said to me, "I should do what you do. I look at the prices of razor blades and thinks perhaps I should stop shaving."   When he looked at me, he did not see the shaved head that requires lots of razor blades. He saw the full beard and was thinking he'd like to have one of those. (He's about my age, too).  I had to point out that I shave my head daily and that's way more landscape to 'mow' than a beard.

I just had to laugh. Here's a guy and he does not even see my shaved head!

Some people just aren't that observant!

And yes razors are destroyed by my head hair, I use way to many!

I second that, it's like trying cut down a tree with a lawn mower. Fortunately my MPB has advanced so much in the last month or two the there's not much to shave on top anymore

No MPB here whatsoever.  I get to mow the lawn daily.  But I like the results. Both the feel and the look, so I do it daily.

We certainly share the same zeal for having smooth head, I have to have it smooth and shiny!
