Hello,
First of all im 28 and from Poland, I found this forum few days ago and since then I was browsing it quite instensively and I must say you guys are a great group of people, helping and supporting as much as possible I really admire that.
I started balding about 5 years ago(genetic thing, runs in my fathers family). It first hit the top of my head forming round bald place, then it started receeding in the front and moving up. Untill it was only this place at top of my head and front was more or less untouched I was somehow coping with it but now front balding is moving quite fast and Im really starting to hate it...
I never had really short hair I just didnt think it would suit me but nature is forcing me to intensively think about it. Here is some lame picture I have, maybe someone want to state his opinion how bad will I look with shaved head or just really really short hair.
ps. sorry for me english, it gets even worse when I write this cause this is really not easy for me.
ps2 Pic on the left me around 5 years ago and pic on right me 5 months ago(Lost some weight in that time, now i think I got some back)
I know I really screwed out that picture but I was trying to do it fast

First I would like to welcome you.
In looking at your pictures I think you would look great sly. There is only one way to see how you would feel about it though. Give it a try, a good valiant try with 30 days. You won't be worrying about how your hair looks but will feel more confidence. -

thanks for my first replies in this forums !
In my opening post I forgot to mention how GOOD you guys look with your "hairstyles", really I didnt find even one person that wouldnt look good in here.
Next week Im going to hair saloon I dont know if I will go completely bald or just short hair but something will have to be done
Also I envy you guys having dark/black beards etc. I have this damn blond hair which wont look that cool if I decide to grow some facial hair... -

Balding isn't fun--and we've been there so we know what you're feeling. But, being totally shaved bald--that is to say SLY--is great. I don't know why, it just is--and you'll find out once you've shaved it down. It will take a month or so to get used to the new "you" in the mirror, but believe me you'll put all the worry and even anger about "balding" behind you when you go sly. See you on the sly side soon.

You will look good shaved... I also suggest trying it for 30 days.
I'm Polish too but unfortunately I don't speak the language. I do, however, love pierogi, halupki, harutka, halushki, etc.!
Bring on some Polish food!!! -

Welcome.
If you don't like your hair, I would definitely give it a try. Just remember, it's a change and you may or may not like it but have the courage to give it a try. You'll probably find it empowering like a lot of us did. If you like having a beard, I would still give it a try even if it is light in color. If it's thick, it can still look good.
