I've taken the plunge again. Day 2. I've been shaving my head on and off since 1995. At other times, have a skinhead / buzzcut - mainly now to conceal the grey hair and receding hair line. The only thing which usually makes me grow it back is the comments from work place colleagues.
I'd like to keep the bald look. Shaving my head takes about 5 mins and is easy enough - except behind and above the ear, where I nearly always get razor burns.
Recently, I've had my hair so short, that no one really noticed the complete bald look - unless they aren't telling me.

Good for you. The 30 day rule is really good so you give yourself the time to adjust. It seems like you really like it though so best of luck.

Prep work to soften hair....shave in the shower....try Shave Secret oil under your lather.....alum block after the shave .......ditch the multi track or elecrtic and try a DE but you will knick youself a few times in the learning curve....an aftershave balm....only shave with the grain in the problem areas for at least a month or 2 to let the skin heal and toughen up a bit.....witch hazel splashed on the areas after shaving....better prep work....better prepwork...

So far, nobody has commented on my bald look - at least not publicly. Which I think is a good thing !
Prior to the bald look, for the last 17 odd years, I've had a skinhead, which everyone liked. More recently, I've had a number 1 or number 2. So I guess the bald look looks a natural progression.

My experience, too. I was clippering to #1 or no guard for a number of months before shaving bald. Not many comments on the change.
Looks good, buddy. Keep it shaved for 30 days and you'll likely not want to return to anything else.
