Thanks guys. I got through the first day of work... my students didn't particularly care, but some colleagues were kind of jerks about it. So it goes.

Just remember if you are happy, they don't matter. But, if they had emerging or established issues with mpb, although a pathetic response, it may indicate a touch of envy

I hadn't thought about that... but now that you mention it, I'm realizing that you're probably right.
Also, I'm seeing now that people's responses to my hair reflect much more on them than they do on me. That can be hard to see in the moment. -
