AAAHHHH!!! 8 days away from day 30 and stupid me was out washing the Jeep in light overcast and come in for dinner and realize that my head has a sunburn. Now I'll have to wait a wile before I shave my head. Oh well, it's not like I'm going to stop now.

Well, look at it this way....22 days without a sunburn.
Yes, the glass is half full.

LOL true. Actually if I went 22 days out of 30 without a sunburn that's almost 75% so wouldn't that mean that the glass is 3/4 full?

the sun is extremly dangerous for a bald head. I do my best not to bask in the sun. and when I go out, I use the highest sunscreen protection possible.

Get some aloe gel for the sunburn. It helps to heal the sunburn, plus it feels good - very cooling.

I have not done a Sly summer yet and looking forward to swimming and tanning when it comes. I discovered that it is taking a long time for my head to change to the same colour as my face. But I will make sure that I wear sunscreen as the LAST affliction I want is a burned dome. I think I have learned from others like Gunngee.

I'm with you Waine, I'm still waiting on my first sly summer too... with my memory I am almost guaranteed at least one burned dome though! Hopefully I can prove myself wrong!

I'm always forgetting a cap when I go out, probably because I was never in the habit of wearing one. Result? Sunburned more than once, fortunately never serious. But, like gunngee, I'm not going to stop being sly.

Don't let the sunburn stop you...Aloe Vera works well on sunburned scalp also.

I didn't put anything on because I didn't think I needed to. It was cloudy when I went outside to wash the Jeep. When I started vacuuming the inside the sun came out and I specifically went inside the house and grabbed a baseball hat. Like I said, it's not going to stop me from shaving my head now but it will for a couple of days until it settles down.
