Since the topic of Brit TV came up, I'll add in "Yes, Minister" / "Yes, Prime Minister" and the whole Inspector Morse series as favorites.
By the way, McVitie's Plain Chocolate Whole Wheat Biscuits are great. There's a store near me that sells them, but I can't bring my self to pay $5 for a sleeve of cookies>
Best Britcom of all time:
To The Manor Born.
And you can get McVities cheaper than that online.

Best Brit comedy, IMO, Fawlty Towers. Series--Upstairs Downstairs on PBS--damn near proved we were still a colony, people didn't answer the phone on Sundays when it was on.

There's one British comedy that cracks me up..."The Vicar Of Dibley". There are so many funny characters and they spilled the beans that there are British Rednecks. And I understand it was on the air for over a dozen years. Good show, do y'all know it?

What are the earliest shows you can remember watching?
Not necessarily all-time favs, but earliest I remember:
Primetime: Hawaii 5-0, Medical Center, Marcus Welby, That Girl, Love American Style, Brady Bunch
After school: Speed Racer
Saturday Morning: Banana Splits, Super Friends, Pink Panther

Best Britcom of all time: To The Manor Born.
Oh yes, To The Manor Born was outstanding. I love Britcoms, and aside from Manor, I would never get tired of watching:
Fawlty Towers
The Young Ones
Keeping Up Appearances
Ab Fab (Series 1-3; the later ones were a little too mean-spirited for my tastes)
Blackadder
And not a Britcom per se, but The Benny Hill Show was also a hoot!

For me it was Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, Six Million Dollar Man, Bionic Woman, Wonder Woman, Incredible Hulk (I worshiped Lou Ferrigno), and reruns of the Brady Bunch, I Love Lucy, Bob Newhart, and the Mary Tyler Moore show, to name a few.
Yes, yes, yes! Plus All in the Family, Good Times, Maude, One Day At A Time, and SOAP!

Another Britcom that I really liked -- and I've never met anyone on either side of the Atlantic who remembers it -- was Two's Company with Elaine Stritch and Donald Sinden. She played an American writer living in London and he was her oh-so-proper and oh-so-disapproving English butler. It ran from 1975 to 1979 on ITV and was shown on A&E here in the US in the early 80s. They didn't make that many episodes, which may account for why it isn't better remembered, but I found the entire series on DVD a few months ago and bought it. It still cracks me up.

I've not watched broadcast TV since about 1971. Don't have cable TV today and don't have a digital converter, so current TV only shows DVD's. Might watch a DVD once a month. So many other things to do in life than watch TV.

Talking about British shows what about an oldie but a goodie, it ran from '72 - '85 "Are You Being Served Yet?
I can't be the only one that was hooked on that really stupid campy show.
