Was Little House on the Prairie big in the US? I know it was made in the US, but it was absolutely HUGE here, but just like Baywatch and several other shows, I'm wondering if it was more popular here than it was there.

Yes, that was one of my favorites when I was a kid.

Mine too I wasnt overly crazy about the later episodes (after Mary went blind and married the ugliest guy in Minnesota), but I liked the earlier seasons

How could I forget The Outer Limits.... scared me silly, and I loved it!

For me it was Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, Six Million Dollar Man, Bionic Woman, Wonder Woman, Incredible Hulk (I worshiped Lou Ferrigno), and reruns of the Brady Bunch, I Love Lucy, Bob Newhart, and the Mary Tyler Moore show, to name a few.

In the U.S., there are several retro-themed TV networks on the air. Antenna TV, MeTV and RTV (Retro TV). Depending where you live, they may be available on an over-the-air local station. It looks like people want a return to classic TV. I know I do!

How about Sesame Street and Mork & Mindy? They were very popular here, as was the police show with Erik Estrada and the geeky looking blond guy. Happy Days was a BIG success in the UK, but I dont believe Laverne & Shirley was ever aired here, and neither was Joanie Loves Chachi (thankfully). That was taking things one step too far

Soap (the show with Billy Crystal) was very very very controversial here but also very popular.

How about Rhoda? The people of the UK never warmed to the MTM show, but Rhoda was a big success.

I remember when we lived in Los Angeles, which was around 1969-1970, we were all forced to watch the Tom Jones show on a Thursday evening because my mother would have died (apparently) if she didnt get to see the show.

I never knew he had his own show. 

Yeah, I remember hearing that a guitar player from Jones' band got electrocuted on the set. Not sure how it happened but I remember it being on the news when I was ..... younger.
