Here's the start for the routine. Until you shave sly, get your clippers out each day and buzz to zero. Just to keep it trim. You'll look the same every day. You'll be developing the habit of caring for your head with this easy to do routine.

I've been buzzing daily or every other day for several months now. Does not take long. Hair length is always the same, unless I change clipper settings  :o It's habit now. Substituting shaving for clippering will be an easy switch.

I think your hair is shorter than mine right now, but not by much.  It will look better shaved sly.  And from what I've been told it will feel great.

Welcome. I have been bbc for 3+ years. It's scary to take the plunge b/c ur afraid of what others will think and react. Seriously don't worry about them. Just do it for yourself. U will love it.

Thanks heaps for the support guys!! Yeah I'm just not feeling it to be honest!! I know that transitioning from the clippers to razor will be empowering but don't think now's the time. I also don't have any real life sly support as my mate who was supportive has moved since my initial post and I don't know anyone else who is BBC or because of mpb. I'm happy to continue with the buzz cuts until I finally pluck up the courage to have my dome smooth and shining!

The "upkeep" involved takes less than 10 minutes a day. It's really no big deal.

Thanks Z I will definitely be sticking around here and happy to hear any encouragement as I'm
(i guess. obviously) in two minds about it.!
X I'm sure that's true, though I'm such a zombie in the morning I'm sure it would take me way longer for my daily shave lol.I'm really happy with my headshape, but just need to find that commitment within myself.
I have however been doing some more thinking and may have found a future solution as a good mate of mine who has been growing his hair out for the past year, is going to shave it all off in Australia's version of St Baldricks in March. I was thinking of going sly in solidarity with him and could potentially do my 30 days as my way of fundraising for the charity (the 30 day angle can be my way to secure donations since my hair's already buzzed) and therefore see if I can stick to slydom! Just an idea for now though

This is an excellent idea and an excellent reason to go shaved bald for a month.
