Trick or Treat
« on: October 31, 2010, 06:10:38 PM »
How many trick or treaters did you get or do you usually get?

I listened to my Great Aunt tell me how she averaged 200+...so I decided to actually count tonight...

33 total

Nada.  Apparently our area had a lot of confusion over when to trick or treat ... last night or tonight.

Very very few, but we went to parties where there were several hundred in the streets--it's sort of weird from my memories, but it works--then there was the child saying, "I don't want to go home."  Answers the Dad, we're in New Orleans remember, "We've got to get home before the kickoff!" ;D

I think we had 6 or 7; plus I pushed some on a couple of dad's (the underhand 15 yard snickers toss).  These were the small party size, so I didn't leave any permanent marks on anyone when I tossed 'em  :*))

Now I've overdosed with leftovers!  )-m  AAAAGGGHHH!

Zero here. Fewer and fewer in this neighborhood every year. Finally none at all. Must have scared them off.  >:D

I live on a mountain where the houses are about 300 - 500 feet apart....... I also live on a cul-de-sac that is about 1/8 mile off the "main" road. Take a guess how many.............

8 1/2 years there and never even 1...............

I live in a new construction area...and on my end of the subdivision(not many homes built), there wasn't but 2 at the beginning...

I looked down the street (where there were no "lot gaps") and it looked like a conveyor belt of trick or treaters...

So I turned on my outside lights(funny, within 10 minutes so did the very few neighbors I have)...

...and then they came for that last burst to make it 33.
