Shiner, in every flavor I've ever had I enjoyed. Good brew! Nothing from Spoetzel Brewery I won't drink. While visiting WI earlier this year, I was introduced to Spotted Cow, which Arnie mentioned, great stuff, and Leinenkugel Summer Shandy. Summer Shandy is great for a hot summer day. Spotted Cow I might have enjoyed a bit too much, I think the cow tipped me that night.
Local brews I enjoy would be just about anything from the Marble Brewing Company. Great bock and double bock, oatmeal stout, blonde, red ale and a good brown. They've always got something seasonal as well.
Another good local micro is Kelly's, only had the Scottish brown but it was very good stuff.
When I go ballooning, most guys won't touch my beer. They're all drinking light beer usually (read: water). Oh well, they don't know what they're missing.

I always tell everybody this about Coors light:
I know the secret recipe. Coors has a 10,000 gallon vat of water.... they tie a single hop to a rope and tie that rope around the waist of an employee.... the employee jumps in the vat of water and swims to the other side...... the employee crawls out of the vat.....Viola!!! Enough Coors light to keep a LOT of people who have never had real beer happy for a month.

Drink your water straight! And the joke, "lite" beer has just as much sodium as any dark beer--net result, water retention is the same after drinking either one!

Light beer is a joke.
I saw a guy at the store this weekend with a 18 pack of Miller Lite in his hands. I fought off the urge to ask him simply, why??
This raises another question: Do y'all prefer bottles, tap or cans? I prefer bottles myself.

Tap if available, just feel it's fresher beer. Favorite is going to the Abita connected restaurant/sandwich shop in Abita Springs and getting my growler filled to take home--really fresh, really good--usually w/ Turbo-Dog.

Most pople don't like draught beer because they've never had REAL BEER on tap!
I prefer draught for good beers and will always go that way first....... but for American beers that are already piss poor I choose bottles.
Poor American beer from a tap is even worse.
Beer in cans should ONLY be used to cram into the cavity of a chicken for making beer can chicken.............. or other cooking chores.....

Bottles, just slap a nipple on it.

Actually Bottle beer poured into a frosty mug.
Tap if i'm out and it is a really good bar with lots of European and Irish beers.

I was at BevMo and approached the register with two 750 ML bottles of Belgium beer. The guy behind me had an 18 pack of Bud Light. I told him, you should go exchange it for my beer, it will taste better, have less calories, and has more alcohol content for the same price!

Tyler, I believe he's looking for volume, not taste, lol.

Jax, unbelieveably bad, but great award winning ads.
