Guys, how much time do you get this thing charging in order to get the battery full ? I noticed that the green light of charging never turns off, so I wonder which is the exact amount of time it is required to be charging. I looked at the manual and the only thing that mentions is that you have to charge it for 16hs for the first time, which I've already did. But it doesn't mention any word about the everyday-charging time.

Thanks!

I just keep mine charging so that it's ready every day.

I don't have one but I'm betting that light is lit whenever it's plugged in..... so it's a charging/power light.

This thing might be just the ticket for me, as I have difficulty shaving the back of my head close because of HT scars. An electric w/ no irritation sure would be nice, at least.. for that area if nothing else.

I found it on CVS.com for only 30 dollars.  is this the same product? want to be sure before I buy it, dont' want to get the wrong thing just to save 10 dollars.  I also live near a CVS maybe I'll walk down and see if they have it.

I'm excited to go sly, as you can see from my picture, I'm still sportin the buzz look, not sly

edit: 1 more question.. when I do get it, should I use lectric or some other type of pre-shave lotion on my head? or just go right to work w the clippers

Well that figures.. $29.99 plus free shipping, and I just bought mine from Newegg butpaid $39.75. I haven't even gotten it yet- it'll be this afternoon (if UPS does Saturday deliveries) or Monday.
Wonder if Newegg has a price match policy? I'm gonna go look on their website.

Mine was 29.99 from new egg, but I had to pay a bit for shipping.  Came out to around 30 total..

I'm going sly this week though, I gota  question cause my cleanhead just came in the mail.  How the heck do you get the hair above your ears w/ this thing? or with any electric for that matter.  If I just pull my ear down w/ 1 hand and shave w/ the other, is it going to get me a clean shave? I don't want a bald head with little fuzzies above my ear lol

I don't really have a problem with hair around my ears, the Cleanhead should be able to get it, if not, just use a regular razor - blade or electric.  My normal electric (Norelco) actually works fine for that

Well, I've used my new Cleanhead for two days now. It's pretty nice.  There are two spots, the "back corners", of my noggin that I can't quite get as smooth as I want, because I have strong ridges there, but overall it does a good job. I prefer to use it on the back of my head rather than blades because of the HT scars there. I just can't go ATG with a blade back there, I'd rip myself up. With the CC, I get smooth enough that I dont even feel stubble when I rub my hand ATG. Not bad.
As to the areas I can't quite get totally smooth the CC, I use either a blade on those, or, that MICROForce battery powered razor I reviewed in the other forum section. That thing gets super close - but, it can also irritate the skin a lot easier than the CC.

Overall though, I recommend the Conair Cleanhead;  even if you're a dedicated bladehead, there might be times when you just don't have the time or whatever, and the CC does a fair enough job.  It will also come in handy for late day touch-ups or whatever. It's rechargeable, so it's portable too. Keep it in your briefcase if you have a late meeting or something and want to touch up your head.  Heck, for only $30 - $40, how can you go wrong? I think it's worth adding to your shaving arsenal.

I have been shaving my head with an old Norelco triple-head electric shaver.  There is no visible stubble immediately after shaving, but my head feels like sandpaper.   After about 6 hours, there is visible stubble.   Does the Connair Cleanhead give a closer shave?

The Conair Cleanhead does give a much closer shave than the Norelco triple-head shaver, but still not as close as with a razor.  But as far as electrics go, there is no comparison to the Cleanhead!!

CVS has the Conair Clean head Shaver on sale for $22.49.  I just ordered one.  The total cost with tax and shipping is $29.10.
