hi everyone. ive read some of these posts about people being like, omg my head is shaped weird, but you guys cant even touch this. my head is like obnoxious huge. i had huge insecurity issues growing up because a lot of kids would make fun of me calling me triangle head and ET. i still remember in class this kid yelled out ET in front of everyone, i was always so embarrassed and ashamed of it. i always grew my hair out and i would always get really insecure everytime i got a haircut. just the blank stares at me.
now i am losing my hair and there is nothing i can do to stop it. i know i should shave it eventually, but i really wanted to at least finish college before i had to go bald, but now i see that really may not happen.
it just kinda hit me yesterday that i am going bald, and i just dont know what to do. like if you guys knew the agony i had in elementary and middle school with my head shaped WITH hair, you can imagine how freaked out and scared i am right now for without.
does anyone know if theres some reconstructive surgery you can do on your skull? i dont even care about going bald, its just my stupid triangle shaped head.
anyone have pictures of people like this because i cant find any pics of people with big et shaped heads and it just makes me feel really bad. htanks.

It probably isn't as bad as you think it is. kids can be cruel, and have no idea the scars those comments can leave on a person.
I can't imagine that having ANY type of elective/cosmetic surgery on your skull is a wise decision, nor would I think any surgeon would perform such a procedure.
I would be willing to bet most people wouldn't even notice it, but if it means making you feel more comfortable...have you tried wearing a hat?

So you got made fun of, deal with it...I got picked on alot in school because I was fat, you're not gonna get much sympathy here especially stuff that happened in the past, I along with everyone here will be here to support your choice to be sly, embrace what good you provide and quit dwelling on things that are not important and will not be factored in, if you feel that you have a triangle shaped head than there's nothing anyone can do for that and the mentioning of surgery is extreme IMO...for the records I bet you have a good shaped head.

yeah i know what you are saying man. i hear ya. i just wanted to know if anyone else had this problem or if there were pictures online of people with similiar shaped heads because it just made me really feel like some kind of freak in elementary school. sorry i was feeling really out of it earlier, i just went to the store and got to relax. sometiems i just have freak out moments like the one above.
but if anyone has any pictures of people with mis shapen heads that would really be great. i saw the anna nicole guy and he seemed to live with it. like when i see him with a mis shaped head, i just think wow he has a mishaped thing on his head, but i dont really think differently of him or anything.
i guess my main concern was that ive just recently started getting better with girls and i just dont want to lose that and have a rematch with my middle school years of torture and walking through the halls feeling nervous and freaked out at evedryone who looked at me weird, u know?
so if anyone has any pics, i would love to see them!! thanks so much guys!!

First off, ET's head isn't really triangular so I'm not sure I can picture what you mean. Throw up a picture.
Second, I'm going through the exact same thing as you are (same age, situation, made fun of when I was younger, I have a MASSIVE tall head haha). Chances are you're worrying about it way too much, and I probably am too. There are some guys with some really odd head shapes that get along just fine. They may not necessarily look great, but they don't look bad, either. And in some cases look good in spite of their heads. Check out michael stipe, jason taylor, and andre agassi, matt hasselbeck and damon wayans to see what I mean. None of these guys have a head that is anywhere near round, but they're all doing more than fine, and if you saw them in the street you'd never think twice (well, if they weren't a celebrity). In fact, if you ask most girls they'd say that's a pretty good looking group of guys. The point is they aren't being held back and you won't be either unless you let it happen.
It's pretty difficult to be optimistic sometimes, I know. But it's the only useful mindset there is, because there is nothing you can do about the situation. And realistically, our situation isn't that bad. We don't have cancer, and the fact that you're able to use a computer and have time to sit around and worry about the shape of your head means you're not starving, either. Everyone should have our problem.

Yeah, I second that. It's really not as bad as you think. Sometimes we're our own worst enemy.

Post a picture and we'll be the judge of whether or not your headshape is that bad.. Honestly I highly doubt it is your worst critic will always be you, and even if it isnt a perfect shape then who cares? if you're confident most people will probably notice your confidence and admire it over your head shape

A few of our members have, what I call, a perfect shaped head. We are our own worse critics. Everyone has something about their heads that they don't like. For me, I have one ear that sticks out like someone left the car door open. As critical as I am, I'm sure you can get by with whatever you feel are shortcomings.

I suggest an Absolute Rule:
No one may respond to posts of this nature unless a credible picture of the poster is published on SBG.
I haven't been at SBG but ten or twelve weeks, but I don't think I have seen any of this type of poster who has manned up to posting a picture. If they won't post a picture here in an anonymous situation, they don't deserve a response. I think most of them are probably sitting alone in a dark room, playing with themselves, illuminated only by the glow of the crt, laughing their ass off at their brilliance of their humor.
Very true Tat, and this brings to mind our fezzed friend from last year. This guy was so full of himself.
A real j/o.

if you dont have a picture, nobody can help you or pass judgement. So i dont understand the point of this post
